VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Nellie Day, 77, died yesterday (July 22, 1970) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there three weeks. Born Dec. 16, 1892, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Thomas J. and Lydia E. Summers Day. She was married to Dean McBroom, who died. She later married William Day, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Thomas McBroom of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Eldridge of Veedersburg; a brother, Harry Day of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Maxine Bryant, of West Lebanon and Mrs. Mary Anders of Veedersburg; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Day was a member of the Yeddo Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors of America, Centennial Cemetery League and Centennial Church. She also was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Centennial Church. Burial will be in the Centennial Cemetery. The body is at the Parham Funeral Home. Friends will be received after 5 p.m. Friday. - jlr
